International Passive House Open Days 2018

Visit the first 3 Passive Houses in Los Angeles:

• A brand new house in Culver City, which is under construction and nearing completion. This Net-Zero home is located on a multifamily lot offering 1,750 sq.ft. of living area with an additional large outdoor deck over the carport.

• A house retrofit in Atwater Village, which is a one-story addition to an existing 1,000 Sq. Ft. single-family house from 1906. the all-electric 2,000 sqft house, completed a few months ago, is Net Zero Energy with only 16 solar panels.

• A house addition in Northeast Los Angeles, a step by step Passive House Net Zero upgrade of a 1909 cottage with a 1,200 Sq. Ft. new addition.

Guided tour in all houses by the house’s designer from 1:00PM to 2:30PM

Come learn about each project and their specific approach from their owners & designers and discover the PH Standard and all the benefits which come with it.

All buildings in California will need to be Net Zero Energy, starting 2020 for all new residential buildings (single family houses and multi-family buildings less than 4 stories).
